Our philosophy is pretty simple: to share our love of herbal preparations with like-minded people ... and to offer products that are as pure and natural as possible to those who prefer Nature’s remedies to those cooked up in a laboratory. One of the more annoying trends in the cosmetics/personal care industry is the addition of a few herbs or essential oils to a product in the attempt to have it appear “more natural”. The problem is that the chemical concoction is still there. Truly natural products are difficult to find and some of them are incredibly expensive. After being frustrated in the search for a reasonably priced line of high quality herbal products, the only solution seemed to be to find the time to create our own. And after sharing with friends and family, getting some enthusiastic feedback, and being encouraged to share with the general public ... well, here we are. Every product offered by Dragonstone Herbals TM has been formulated to meet a specific need. Body butters, lip balm, and moisturizers must hydrate without feeling greasy ... scrubs must exfoliate without being harsh and should also moisturize ... the herbs and oils used in our bath kits should create an indulgent bathing experience ... and our aromatherapy products are designed to uplift and soothe the mind. In addition to creating products that are useful, we’re also committed to only using organic herbs. Oils and butters are a little harder to find as organic (especially some of the more exotic varieties) but we do our best to buy organics there as well. We believe that everyone deserves pure and natural products when it comes to taking care of our skin. And we will NEVER use a microwave to heat any of the ingredients. While this is acceptable to many soapers and lotion crafters, the changes in the base molecules caused by the microwave radiation is contrary to our philosophy of creating as pure a product as possible. You can be assured that we don’t skimp on quality when it comes to our ingredients and all our products are hand-crafted following specific recipes and processes to ensure consistency.
