Chest Rub
Decongest without petroleum jelly!
One of our newer products, these rubs are a natural alternative to commercial products using petroleum jelly as a base. An excellent solution for those who want to help their body heal without the use of chemicals. We only use pure oils and waxes in our rubs … no petroleum jelly and no chemicals. Our chest rub comes in two formulations ... an “adult” version with menthol and essential oils and a children’s version with only pure essential oils (no menthol) to protect their delicate nasal passages. Both formulations start with an olive oil base and just enough beeswax to give a thick gel-like consistency. The formula for adults and older children is blended with camphor, eucalyptus, rosemary, and tea tree essential oils along with a small amount of menthol (pure crystal melted into the oils). If you're sensitive to (or don’t like) strong, minty smells, consider the Children's formula instead. The children’s formula contains only essential oils and blends eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, and tea tree essential oils. This rub does not contain any menthol or camphor which can irritate or damage the nasal passages of infants and small children. Both of the chest rub formulas are suitable for use in a vaporizer and are available in 2 ounce and 4 ounce plastic jars. It’s best to store both formulations in a cool, dark place. Warnings/Precautions: For external use only, do not ingest. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if irritation or redness occurs. Never use the adult formula on children less that 6 years of age.
